Cooking class about the rum baba

L’Atelier Saveurs Pays regularly offers cooking classes that will allow you to discover new Martinique recipes. In a few days, l’Atelier will also offer a class on how to prepare caribbean style rum baba. Discover all the details about this class and where to rent a car to go there.

And why not take advantage of your stay in Martinique to discover local gastronomy and learn how to cook Martinique dishes? L’Atelier Saveurs Pays, located in Fort-de-France, offers themed cooking classes, some of them focusing on local cuisine.

One class will take place on September 26th, 2015, from 16:30 till 19:00 and will teach you  how to bake a revisited rum baba : the "route du rhum baba, compote of roasted pineapple and lemongrass-lime whipped cream". The Chef will also teach you various cooking techniques such as cooking syrup, whipping cream and how to prepare savarin dough.

The "baba route du rhum" cooking class at l’Atelier Saveurs Pays costs 60€ per person (for a 2 and a half hour class) and you can make a reservation on l’Atelier’s website or by calling them at 0696 77 80 84.
