To rent a car at Rent a Car Martinique you need :

• A valid driver's license for all drivers registered on the rental contract (only original documents are accepted)
• To be at least 18 years old and have 1 year of driving experience (please note that for some vehicles you must be 21 or 24 years old)
• A bank card with the necessary funds for the vehicle deposit

For any car rental in Martinique a deposit must be left. The counter agent will need your credit card to block the deposit. The amount is not debited, it is blocked on your bank account for the duration of the rental. It corresponds to the amount of the Deductible which is specified on the reservation - on your contract, and it depends on the model of vehicle chosen. If there is any damage to the car, you will be informed by the park agent that the deposit will be debited. An expert mandated by the insurance company will then come and evaluate the amount of the work and the difference will of course be given to you. To compensate for this, there is a solution available to you: the Total Deductible Repurchase which reduces the accident deductible to 0€.

Changing a reservation:

Prepaid bookings may be modified, subject to availability, up to 72 hours before the pick-up date and time. After this time, any request for modification will be impossible, unless the amount of the modified reservation is higher than the amount of the initial reservation. In this case, the hirer must pay the difference. Any modification or cancellation of pre-reserved baby/child accessories must be notified by email no later than 72 hours before the start of the rental period. After this time, no refund will be possible.

Depending on the date of cancellation, charges may apply. Any supporting document may be useful in processing the request for reimbursement.
